Hospitality infused tech – Eclat app

A digital representation of the eclat commitment to technology, design and hospitality.

The Eclat App is not just a functional requirement for the business, it is a statement about the curated environment with every detail being considered. The technology had to be developed in a scalable way to incorporate future locations and the idiosyncrasies that will exist for each new site. There were many “off the shelf” options to achieve the functional objective, however Eclat never waivered on their commitment to delivering an experience that is unique innovative and supportive of their long term ambitions.

The visual design of the application evokes a similar feeling users experience when walking into the physical space. Created in parallel with the interior of Eclat Hawthorn East, users get a sense of the environment by opening the app observing elements of its colour palette, arches and style guides reflected in the app; so there is a real feeling of connection to the physical space.

“Differentiation in the market hasn’t been achieved with elevated interior design, bespoke furniture and integrated hospitality alone. The stories we tell, the lives we live and the support we offer each other defines the Eclat brand. Our digital platforms need to promote this connectivity and bring us together” – Jesse Hayes

An exciting development currently on the cusp of being launched is its integration with Noted. Enabling a direct connection between Eclat CMS, web and its social media platforms with the editorial element of the business. Allowing each Eclat location, or a geotargeted group of locations within a city to organically evolve its own individual narrative and community voice with articles and media being truly cross platform.

“The Eclat app manages every aspect of a members day to day experience. It also ensures that all on site technology is discreet, intuitive, far more integrated and less impactful to interior design outcomes.”

The digital roadmap for Eclat is exciting to say the least. This attention to detail and their need for bespoke touchpoints extends far beyond the app to the broader web platform and backend CMS platform, both currently in development. Its objective is to offer members a completely unique experience and enable industry leading innovations and profound interactive experiences between users and future physical Eclat amenities. Technology working in harmony with interior design to achieve a unified outcome to fulfil the needs of the new age workforce.

The Eclat APP is available to members on both iOS and Android. With a scalable design, observing the need to support progressive updates, the addition of new features and API’s, to expand upon existing functionality as Eclat launches new locations and adds new branded amenities, such as accommodation and wellness centres. The Eclat app developed in partnership with Exo Digital, celebrated its winning at Melbourne Better Future and Good Design Awards and is currently shortlisted in several international design competitions championing Australian innovation.
