The story of Wild Duck Creek Estate begins in 1974, when David Anderson, the winery’s founder, planted the first vines on this now-iconic property.
With a vision to create exceptional wines that express the essence of the region, Anderson established the Original Shiraz Vineyard in 1988, a site that remains central to the winery’s operations today. The vineyard’s first commercial vintage followed in 1991, signaling the arrival of a new force in Australian winemaking.
